Master Carlos Gracie Jr. gave a great seminar at Gracie Barra Encinitas on Monday 8/18/08. At the end of the seminar, Master Carlos awarded Professor Nelson Monteiro with his 5th degree. Professor Monteiro is among the first generation of black belts produced by Master Carlos and is largely responsible for the development of the prestigious ADCC Submission Wrestling tournament. Congratulations to Professor Monteiro!
